The Brain Tumor Epidemiology Consortium (BTEC) announces the availability of two Junior Investigator Awards to its 2017 meeting. The meeting title is
Brain tumor epidemiology in the era of precision medicine
Banff Conference Center- Alberta – June 27-29, 2017
The goal of these awards is to encourage investigators with an interest in the epidemiology of tumors of the brain and central nervous system who are at the start of their career to present their work at an international meeting. One recipient will be chosen from the United States (US) and one from outside the US.
Eligible candidates include those who are:
(1) pre-doctoral (currently enrolled in a PhD or MD program) OR
(2) post-doctoral (at the fellow or junior faculty level with no more than three years from receipt of an initial doctoral level degree).
Awards include economy class airfare to the meeting, accommodations and meals, as well as meeting registration. Applicants must email current curriculum vitae and scientific abstract, on the form provided, to Ms. Benedicte Clement (email@example.com ) by March 16, 2017.
